Austin builds every frame himself in the Colorado Springs shop, start to finish. You'll talk through how you ride and get measured, then pick the tubing and paint scheme together.
Austin studied bicycle framebuilding under NJS master framebuilder Koichi Yamaguchi, whose bikes have won numerous Olympic medals and world championships.
You can go lugged or fillet brazed. If you go lugged, Austin picks the lugs with you; some lug sets carry an additional charge.

Bicycles are a lot like horses: fast, graceful, and happiest when well cared for. They need new shoes, a good wash, and regular attention from someone who knows how to listen.
A Monsoon tune-up covers the whole bike: drivetrain cleaned, bearings checked, cables and housing replaced as needed, everything adjusted until it runs quiet.
Austin only installs top-tier bearings, cables, and components, because your bike is meant to disappear beneath you.
Austin has been fitting riders to bicycles since before digital systems like Retul existed. He fits with simple tools, a trained eye, and a lot of questions.
He has studied the Italian CONI methods of the 1970s, the Bike Fit Kit of the 80s, the Lemond formulas of the 90s, and today's Retul systems, and he has done over a thousand fits.
