Monsoon Cycles, Colorado Springs · Updated October 28, 2026

Tubular gluing for all wheel types. Austin has been gluing tubulars since he was 12 and is happy to glue your tires up for you. We keep FMB, Rene Herse, and Challenge tires (among many others) close at hand if you'd like to order your tubulars through Monsoon Cycles.

New wheel glue-ups, tubular tire replacement (w/ deep rim cleaning prior to new gluing), regluing improperly mounted tires, and in some cases even tubular repair (latex/tpu innertube replaced and resewn back in, a practice not widely done since the 80's).

The proper gluing process takes 1 week and involves up to 10 layers of glue (varies based on the tire type and size), each with different curing times before the next / before a tire is ever applied. Rush service can get you glued up within 4 days. Though tires can theoretically be glued and safely ridden within much shorter time windows, these 7 and 4 day turnarounds allow for maximum safety through optimal stretching + curing time. Drop-off by appointment in Colorado Springs. Email austin@monsooncycles.com with what wheels and tires you have for a quote.

A standard glue job is $40, a rush job is $60 per rim.
