The game and every tool on this site are free. This is what that means, and why.

The game is free: all sixteen courses, leaderboards, bots, multiplayer, and the .fit upload that turns a real ride into a private course. The Frame Lab is free, including the blueprint and the miter templates. The calculators are free. The forum is free. There is no premium tier, and nothing on this site unlocks with money.
OPEN THE GAMEOPEN FRAME LABNo ads. No subscription. No trial that expires. No third-party trackers. No email wall: you can open the game and ride demo mode without an account. Signing in with a magic link exists so designs, leaderboard times, and forum posts can be saved, and it is optional. Nothing is for sale on these pages except the shop's own frames and services.
Exercising on a bike is hard and expensive enough already. A bike, a trainer, tires, sensors, and the time itself: it adds up before you ride a single virtual mile. The fewer barriers between you and a nice ride, the better.
Most indoor riding apps run fifteen to twenty dollars a month, and for a lot of riders that is the barrier. This one runs in a browser tab and costs nothing.
The shop does. Austin builds custom steel frames for a living, and some people who spend time in the Frame Lab or the game eventually want a real frame. That is the whole business model. If you never buy anything, that is fine too.
Yes. The tools are static pages that cost almost nothing to serve. If multiplayer ever gets expensive to run, the answer will be capacity limits, not a paywall.
If one of these tools saved you money or got you riding, tell another rider about it.
